Rev. Dr. Kimberly Ridley
President and Founding Director
Dr. Ridley is called by God to be a kingdom visionary and authentic encourager. In addition to being the Founding Executive Director of the Association of African American Clergy Women (AAACW), she serves with the African American Fellowship of Virginia and is on the Ministry Advisory Council for the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Richmond. In January 2020, she became a part of the Advisory Council of The Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership. She is the Chief Visionary Officer for Divine Shine LLC, which currently hosts the annual Sistah’s Keeper Clergy Conference and serves as the pastor of The Light Community Church in Richmond, VA, which is called THE LIGHT.
Her undergraduate school of choice was Hampton University, where she received a B.S. in Accounting. She later attended the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, where she received her Masters of Divinity (magna cum laude). Her doctoral studies focused on leadership alignment for sustainable ministry in the local church and were completed in 2018 at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Ridley shares her life and ministry with her husband and children in Glen Allen, VA. She is a passionate preacher, revivalist, conference teacher and workshop facilitator, and a published author. Melvina is a proud native of Brooklyn, New York, and a current resident of Henrico, VA. I’m an educator, a preacher, a life coach, an entrepreneur, a wife, a mother and a friend. For over 30-years I’ve helped individuals overcome substance use and mental health disorders. My first love is reading, followed by dancing, theatre, laughing, nature, designing unique handcrafted jewelry from semi-precious stones and other natural materials, and many other things.
Personal Statement: Truly, my GOD has traveled with me on this fantastic voyage called life. I am in awe of how God has orchestrated my life and weaved it into such a beautiful tapestry. My intention is to be all that God has designed me to be, to reach excellence in all that I do, and to help others reach their fullest potential.
Rev. Angela Snead

Rev. Angela Snead loves the Lord, her family & friends, a good laugh and high heels. She’s married to Dwight Snead Jr where she and their children reside in Moseley Va. Rev Snead has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University; a Master of Divinity Degree from Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, Post graduate certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and in following God’s direction for her family is currently pausing her work on a PhD in Health Psychology to full time homeschool her children. Rev. Snead stepped out in faith to plant Christ Fellowship on June 10, 2012, where she currently serves as Senior Pastor. In 2020 Rev. Snead completed the final requirements to successfully test & earn her 1st Dan black belt in Martial Arts. In her downtime she enjoys, Cooking, Weight lifting, Reading, Quilting & Shopping.
